Our Story

Our story has grown into a desire to inspire all those around us... family, friends, colleagues and strangers alike... to respect the great power in God's name. To honor the commandment: "You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain."

When I was young, my dad instilled something in my heart that has stayed with me my entire life.

Whenever we heard God’s name used in vain...in music, movies or general conversation... he taught me to quietly say to myself:

“Blessed be the name of God.”

It became deeply personal. A devotional. A small but meaningful act of reverence. Now I’ve passionately passed that on to my own family.

One day our daughter Sienna came home from school, bothered by how often she heard God’s name used so casually. It deeply troubled her. She wasn’t sure how to respond — especially being more reserved by nature. She was too shy to speak up.

But that same message planted in her heart began to stir something bigger.

She suggested we find a way to share it. Not loudly. Not confrontationally. But as a quiet, powerful response — especially for others who also feel too shy or hesitant to speak up.

That’s when The Name of God was born.

These are not just our collections... They are an opportunity to spark conversation. They are an opportunity for us as Christians to quietly yet confidently share our message and honor the 10 Commandments.
